A Call for Submissions

I’d love to read your mini memoirs, and I’m sure my readers would too! If you would like to be a part of the Mini Memoir Monday series, please submit a memoir that’s 500-1500 words. This memoir can be goofy, sad, or just odd. The key to a mini memoir is that you pick a specific moment in time – in other words I don’t want a brief recap of your entire life. I prefer short glimpses into people’s lives; stories that raise more questions than answers.

Forward this to any of your friends who might have good tales 🙂

If you’d like to submit, fill out this contact form, and in the comment section you can include the attachment.

Looking forward to reading your stories!

  1. I think it is a wonderful idea. Since my work is usually in the form of a mini recollection of the past I give you the choice of reading through my material and select anything you find interesting enough to put in the collection. Is that okay with you?

    1. Would you mind sending a few of your favorite memoirs? I don’t have time to read through your entire blog (although I’m really enjoying it) and I don’t want to miss out on a memoir you would like to share.

      1. My favorites include fire, the con man-my father, and the counterfeiter. I am glad you are enjoying my material. If you like a copy of my book let me know. It is about a serial killer and you have got to like that genre to enjoy it. If so I would be glad to send it to you through e-mail. Sincerely, Barry

  2. Tracy – I’d love to submit something suitable for mini-memoirs. I love reading yours, but I’m not sure mine could possibly live up to those that you post. I have several that I’d like you to consider (be forewarned, though, they are sad). If you’d like to read them, send me an email.

  3. Hi Tracy, I have two post that I think would be appropriate. I will let you look. One is titled, A Jounal Entry-Victory Dance http://wp.me/p1sYP4-zr This is more of a snapshot of my week and details some publishing victories. The second is more of a reflection, all about the power of words. It is titled, Writing: For the Love of Words http://wp.me/p1sYP4-xa Thanks for considering. If you want to use one, please let me know ahead of time, as I would like to help you promote it and your site.
